GENERAL REQUIREMENT

​There is no requirement to have completed any other particular event in order to participate in Hong Kong 100. You do, however, need to be an experienced trail runner and must be sufficiently skilled and trained to undertake the event.  The course is very tough and demanding with remote sections that can result in slower first aid / rescue response times.  There are some very steep sections and parts are rough under foot.  You must also have the ability to deal with difficult conditions, including strong winds, high and low temperatures and heavy rainfall.  Ensure that you are in good health and that you do not have any illness that might hinder your ability to complete the event.  It is your responsibility to monitor your health and condition during the event and to withdraw from the event if you are no longer well enough to continue safely
​參加香港 100 賽事並無要求完成任何其他特定賽事。但是您需要是一名經驗豐富的越野跑手，並且必須具備足夠的技能和訓練才能參加該賽事。比賽的賽道難度頗高，部分偏遠地區可能會導致急救/救援時間變慢。部分賽道非常陡斜或崎嶇難行。參賽者必須有能力應付惡劣天氣，包括強風、高溫、低溫及大雨。參賽者必須具備良好健康狀況，沒有任何病患，以致有可能影響完成賽事的能力。參賽者在比賽期間，應留意自己的身體狀況，若因身體狀態而不能安全繼續，則應退出比賽。

HONG KONG 100 ENTRY PROCEDURES

香港100報名程序

​Pre-registration application (the “Ballot”) for HK100 and The Grand Sam

​Pre-registration is applicable to all registrations except (i) 2024 volunteers, (ii) participants who have done every edition of HK100, (iii) deferred places and (iv) past winners. These 4 categories of participants will receive an email invitation to register for HK100 directly. Please email [email protected] if you believe you qualify in these categories and have not received an invitation email on 4 August 2024.
 
All dates and times mentioned below refer to Hong Kong time.

  1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old on race day.
  2. Pre-registrations will not be allowed on behalf of others. All pre-registrations must be applied for using a unique e-mail address.
  3. You may pre-register as an individual or as a Group (maximum 8 runners per group). When the ballot is drawn all pre-registrations will be assigned a ballot selection order number. All members of a pre-registration group will be assigned the same ballot selection order number, so that members of the group will either all be successful in the ballot or will all be unsuccessful. You are only allowed to pre-register once. You are not allowed to pre-register as an individual and as a member of a group. To register as a group, each group member should enter exactly the same group name. This name must be identical for each group member and cannot be changed after ballot application.
  4. Duplicate applications will not be allowed and such applications will be deemed invalid.
  5. All applicants must register their names using the English alphabet. If you have a ITRA account (www.itra.run), please use the same name format so that your race results will be recorded correctly in the same account.
  6. Applicants for the Grand Sam (all 3 events) should complete the pre-registration form also. Ballot will be carried out if the number of places allocated for Grand Sam is fewer than applications. Results will be notified by email on Thursday 15 August 2024.
  7. All ballot applicants must pre-register online from 8:00 on Thursday 8 August 2024 to Sunday 11 August 2024 before 23:59.   A link will be provided on the HK100 website throughout this period. 
  8. A non-refundable payment of HK$100 is required as a pre-registration application fee. The full proceeds, after deduction of third party payment processing charges, will be donated to charity by HK100. Pre-registrations without payment will be ignored.
  9. Successful applicants will be sent on Thursday 15 August 2024 an email invitation hyperlink to register and will need to complete registration before 23:59 on Sunday 18 August 2024, including payment of an entry fee to confirm registration. If registration is not confirmed within this time frame, the invitation will lapse.

所有申請者必須進行預先登記，但不包括(1)2023年賽事義工，(2) 參加過每屆 HK100 的運動員，(3)延期名額和歷屆獲獎者。這4類別參加者將直接收到HK100的註冊邀請電子郵件。 如果您符合這些資格，並且在 2024 年 8 月 4 日尚未收到電子邀請郵件，請發送電子郵件至 [email protected]。
 
以下所列之日期及時間為香港時間。
  1. 申請者必須於比賽當日年滿18歲。
  2. 不可由他人代為進行預先登記程序。每一預先登記必須以獨立的電子郵件地址來進行。
  3. 你可以以個人或團體(每團體最多8名跑手)進行預先登記。完成抽籤後所有預先登記參加者將會分配抽籤輪候號碼。所有預先登記參加團體將獲分配同一號碼，因此組員為全部中籤或全部未能中籤。你只可進行一次預先登記，並不允許同時參加個人及團體的預先登記。
  4. 不可重覆申請；所有申請，一旦重覆，即告無效。
  5. 所有申請者必須在登記姓名時使用英文字母。如果您擁有ITRA (www.itra.run)帳戶，請使用相同的姓名格式，以便您的比賽成績能正確記錄在同一帳戶中。
  6. 大滿貫（全部3個賽程）的申請者同樣請先進行預先登記。 如果大滿貫獲分配的名額少於登記人數，將進行抽籤。抽籤結果將於 2024 年 8 月 15 日(星期四)以電子郵件通知。
  7. 抽籤申請人必須於2024年8月8日(星期四) 08:00 至8月11日（星期日）23:59 前於網上預先登記。  在此期間，參加者可以登入香港100網站,然後點擊預先登記鏈接進行登記。
  8. 每位申請者需要繳付港幣100元作預先登記程序之申請費。此費用於扣除第三方收取之處理費後，將由香港100全數撥捐作慈善用途，不作退還。所有未作繳費之預先登記將不作處理。
  9. 成功申請者將於2024 年8 月15 日（星期四）收到報名邀請登記鏈接，並須於2024 年8 月18日（星期日）23:59 之前完成報名，並須繳付報名費以確認登記。如果在此期限內未確認註冊，邀請登記鏈接將失效。

2024 Volunteers and All Year Participants

​Volunteers who supported the event in 2024, and those who have participated in all (14) previous editions of the race will be offered a guaranteed non-transferable invitation to register by invitation email from Runnerreg on 4 August 2024 (Sunday) . The registration period will be from Sunday 4 August to 23:59 on 10 August 2024 (Saturday). These invitations will expire at 23:59 on 10 August 2024 (Saturday).

​2024年賽事義工及參加過每屆 HK100 的參加者將獲得保證參賽名額，名額不可轉讓。含有邀請連結的電郵將於2024年8月4日(星期日)由 Runnerreg 發送，註冊期為8月4日(星期日)至2023年8月10日(星期六)23:59。這些邀請將於2024年8月10日(星期六) 23:59到期。

Deferred Entries

​Runners who have deferred entries will receive an invitation email from Runnerreg to be sent on 4 August 2024 (Sunday). The registration period will be from 4 August 2024 (Sunday) to 23:59 on 10 August 2024 (Saturday). These invitations will expire at 23:59 on 10 August 2024 (Saturday). Any deferred entries not taken up will lapse without refund.

延期名額

延期名額的參賽者將收到Race Timing Solutions 於2023 年8 月20 日（星期日）發送的邀請電子郵件。報名期限為8 月20 日（星期日）至2023 年8 月23 日（星期三）23:59 。這些邀請將於2023 年 8 月 23 日(星期三)23:59 到期。。所有延期名額未能完成登記則視為失效，且不予作退款。

​Allocation of Places in HK100

  1. 150 places will be reserved for Elite trail runners, meaning those who reasonably expect to complete the race in under either 13 hours for men or 16 hours for women. An ITRA Performance Index of at least 650 for men and 550 for women is proof of Elite status for these purposes. Elite runners will be entitled to start in the Elite Zone at the start line, in front of other participants.  
  2. ​A participant who wishes to be considered for Elite status must provide their result in a previous edition of HK100, their ITRA ranking (see www.itra.run), and/or other results or information that may be considered relevant. For the avoidance of doubt, interested Elite runners should apply through pre-registration and subsequently complete registration, in the same way as other applicants. 
  3. 150 places will be reserved as Charity places in HK100.
  4. 350 places will be reserved for residents of Hong Kong.
  5. When conducting the pre-registration ballot, if the number of applicants holding a passport of any given country exceeds 15, then a minimum of 15 registration places will be allocated to participants from that country. If the number of applicants from any given country is 15 or less, then all will be accepted for registration.
  6. These principles are for guidance only - if the organisers consider it appropriate for any reason to allocate places in the race on a different basis, they may do so.

  3. 150個名額將預留作為慈善名額。

  5. 在進行抽籤時，若同一國家的參加者多於15人，則最少15個名額將分配予該國家的參加者。若同一國家的參加者少於15人，則所有申請將被接納。
  6. 這些原則僅供參考-大會有最終保留權利作出更適當的名額分配.

Registration opens at 08:00 (Hong Kong time) on Saturday 17 August 2024 for The Half and Sunday 18 August for The Third. First come first served.

A number of charity places are available in each of the events:
  • 150 places for HK100
  • 50 places for each of The Half and The Third

​Past winners of each distance and the top 3 finishers of the 2024 edition of each race (“Past Winners”) will receive an invitation email to participate from Runnerreg on Saturday 4 August 2024.

  2. HK100 Entry fee: HK$1780
  3. The Half Entry fee of HK$880 + charitable donation of HK$50
  4. The Third Entry fee of HK$680 + charitable donation of HK$50
  5. Grand Sam entry fee: HK$3170
  6. Charity places
    1. HK100: HK$4780 (of which HK$3000 will be donated to charity)
    2. The Half: HK$2880 (of which HK$2000 will be donated to charity)
    3. The Third: HK$2680 (of which HK$2000 will be donated to charity)

NO REFUND OR CANCELLATION

參賽名額不作退款或取消​

  1. The ballot registration fee for HK100 is a charitable donation and cannot be refunded.
  2. Confirmed registrations for all events cannot be cancelled, deferred or refunded. Therefore, participants should consider purchasing cancellation insurance which is available during registration.
  1. 抽籤登記費屬於慈善捐贈，不作退還。
  2. 已確認的註冊名額不能取消、延期或作退款。​因此，參加者請考慮註冊時購買取消保險。

NO TRANSFER

嚴禁轉讓參賽名額

  1. Confirmed registrations are not allowed to be transferred or deferred.
  2. If a confirmed registrant allows somebody else to use their race bib, the participant will be disqualified and both the registrant and participant will be blacklisted from registration for future editions of the race.
  1. 參賽名額不可轉讓，或保留至下屆賽事。
  2. 若參賽者容許他人使用其參賽號碼布，此參賽者及代跑者將會被取消參賽資格，及不容許參加將來的賽事。

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

比賽取消規定​

The organisers reserve the right to cancel or cut short the event for the following reasons:
  • adverse weather conditions
  • landslides, rockfalls or hill fires along the course
  • protests or blockage along the course
  • force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the organiser and which renders it impossible, unsafe or impractical to hold the event.  A force majeure event shall include, but is not limited to, act of God, war, hostilities, invasion, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot, protests, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lock outs, blockage or disorder, blocked or inaccessible roads or trails, outbreak of disease, acts or threats of terrorism.
In such an event no refund of the registration fee (and any charitable donation) will be provided.

根據以下原因，大會有權保留取消或縮短賽事的權力：
  • 不利的天氣情況
  • 山泥傾瀉、大量落山及比賽路線發生山火
  • 抗議示威或路線被封閉
  • 不可抗力，即發生超出主辦單位所能控制的事件和令舉辦比賽成為不可能，不安全或不切實際的情況。 不可抗力事件包括但不限於天災、戰爭、敵對行為、侵略、叛亂、革命、起義、暴動、示威、騷亂、罷工、怠工、禁工、阻塞或動亂、堵塞或不能通過道路或山徑、疾病的爆發以及恐怖主義行為和威脅。
若此等情況發生，大會將不會退回登記費用(及任何慈善捐款）。
